How Long Will I Love U 超时空同居

Got to know the movie through this movie ending theme.

A fictional time space movie.

The story starts with both Lu Ming and Gu Xiaojiao actual situation of their daily life repectively in 1999 and 2018. Interestingly, both characters had some troubles in their work and financially.

Their apartment in the same physical location merged overnight. To Xiaojiao's horror, she saw Lu Ming on the other side of the bed. Both of the characters ran around the house and with all shock and confuse they found the main door actually access to 20 years apart. With the curiosity, they also found out that the house will turn smaller if they tries to access to each other world.

Many sweet and bitter memories were shared during the cohabitation. When the reality strikes, Lu Ming in 2018 wants Xiaojiao to leave the 1999 Lu Ming in order not to make any changes in the current 2018.

127 Hours

Went to watch the show without knowing the plot.

Initially I thought it is about an adventurous trip around the canyon.

At the introduction, the lead, he was biking, climbing and exploring the canyon that he goes every weekend.

He enjoys every single activity. He brings a camcorder and camera around during his trip.

He even took a picture of himself after falling from the bike.

127 hours = ?? Days

127/24 = 5.29 (2 d.p.)

Yes... 5 days.

So what is about this 5 days?

5 days of survival & self reflections.

The story is based on a true life experience of Aron Ralston's.

He was stuck between a boulder and a hard place.

He did a video diary using his camcorder. 

Making use of his equipments and layout every single items and he thinks of solution to resolve the crisis.

Eventually he self amputated his limb, using a dull knife, in order to escape for his life.

During the 127 hours, he endure through the shortage of food and water and also the hallucinations at a later part.

The attempt of amputating is horror and pain.

For outdoor lovers, pack the right things in the backpack.

For outgoing people, keep your loved ones informed of your whereabout.

After the incident, he live his life normally, formed his family, continue his outdoor activities despite he lost his limb and he will always left a note behind.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

I want to watch this movie, it is on screen today.The Trailer



However, I didn’t manage to catch it before my blogging.
But let’s do some revision on Twilight.

I was not interested in Twilight before I watch the movie. I had never read the book as I was not interested in fiction story. But the film attracted me. There is also this special scene included, a bouncing apple and being caught with both hands which resembles the book cover.

The soundtracks of the movie are quite cool too.

The Story

It is about vampires and humans. It is about Bella, who moved in to live with her father and she attended school. In school, there is this guy named Edward, who always has a weird actions and expressions.

Edward met Bella and he found Bella is special. He found her smell of blood special. Edward is a 17 years old vampire since 1918 with a special skill of reading human minds instantly. However, he can’t manage to read Bella’s mind

Bella and Edward became closer. Soon after, Bella found out that Edward is actually a vampire. Edward revealed himself under the sun with his special sparkling body. He explained why he and his family stayed in the forks, a rainy part of the continent that does not have much sunlight. They are different from humans, physically and their diet, as they don’t drink or eat but with the thirst of human blood. Vampires going under sunlight will expose themselves to human.

Bella met some trouble when she lost her way, and Edward drove a car with those coolest moves, he scares the peoples away with his growl.

Bella went out with Edwards family for an ULTIMATE baseball game, only can be played when thunderstorm. They hit the ball forcefully with the sound as loud as thunder. So they hide themselves with the real thunder. Something happened during the game.

It ends with both of them at prom and Edward promises to be Bella forever until she dies.

2012

I finally get to watch 2012 (:

The film is awesome!

Do you think it will be the last day in 21-12-2012?
Did you ever imagine what will happen?
How does it end our world?

This film brought us to USA, to an author, his divorced wife, current husband and children, a government scientist.
Shows how the family goes through the disastrous and thrilling moment of escape. How the government and the scientist work and fight for the civilians. Lots of people died in the disaster in the show; however the leads made through all the hard times.
The story started in 2009; a scientist found out there is a problem from the earth core. The USA president was informed and they took necessary actions. But the situation was worse then what they anticipated.

How will you react when there is a crack on the ground right under you?
How will you react when you are in the mid air and there are lots of falling objects?
How will you react when you are on a ship but huge waves conquering you?

The film brought us into the troubles in air, land and sea.
But the sea wasn’t the original position of the sea and all the huge waves.

What is humanitarian? If you are the leader what will you do for the humans?
In this film we can see the people with kind souls and how realistic of people thinking only for themselves. People fought to live.

The movie is very thrilling, no matter in air, land or sea. Mount Everest is right in front of you and you can see the tip. Eiffel Tower slowly went down. Volcano eruptions occurred, lava chasing after you. Airplanes crashed into a ship in the water.

I think I just simply love the movie although it may not be quite true. Comparing to “The day After Tomorrow”, it will be more thrilling.

The Sisters

The most recent movie I have watched.
This movie is based on its novel.

The Story

The movie start with Anna (the youngest sister) narrating on her views on pregnancy, it is either coincidence or planned. Anna is basically a genetically engineered child. She mentioned she had a purpose to come into this world.

Kate (the eldest daughter) suffers from leukemia. Anna is genetic copy of her sister Kate. Kate basically needs Anna as a genetically live support. As early as Anna was born months after they have started taking whatever sister Kate needs to save her elder sister.

The Fitzgerald family includes their Dad Brian a fireman, Mother Sara was a lawyer and Brother Jesse. The decision of bring Anna to this world is suggested by the doctor of Kate. Anna is basically an engineered donor child. To donate her organs to help Kate live on.

The movie shows us the views and the past of each role. Jesse is often alone as the family has to watch over Kate.

It also include love story of Kate. Kate met Taylor during 1 of her treatment. They felled in love and went out together after exchanging contact numbers. Unfortunately Taylor passed away not long after.
Anna went to a well known lawyer to sue her parents and want to have rights of her own body and not to let her mother taking away her organs anymore. The lawyer accepted her case.

Of course, they went to law court, her mother was self defending, the Father soon to realise that Anna is also a child a normal child who wants to live life like other kids enjoying the world. Brian and Jesse appeared in the court and the truth of suing Sara also made known after lots of quarrel.

Kate directed Anna to do so, she wants Anna to live a proper life and she suffered a lot from the illness and she does not want to suffer anymore.
After Kate’s death, the family live on and every year on her birthday they go to Montana, which was her "most favorite place in the world".


My Views

I think that the story is quite true; when there is a family member who are seriously ill, similar things will happen. Whether to struggle and live on or let go of the burden, brings a lot of dilemma. Donating of organs from loved ones is alright. But I am against of creating a child for specially donating to someone even if it is a relative working like a “dedicated” donor. Kate protected her sister, release her family from “troubles” and also stop her long battle with the illness. Before her death, she had an enjoyable moment at the beach with her dearest family. I felt that Anna is somehow continuing her life for Kate and herself. Her parents also put more attention on both Anna and Jesse after years of battle for their eldest sister.
Actually, there is difference in the story in film and the novel. In novel, Anna met an accident and had brain dead, donates her organ to Kate. Kate lives on.
